It does not use bags (bag-less). If you have to choose between a bag-less device or a unit with a bag, I’d go for the bag-less. The reason is simple. The manufacture seems to have put some real effort on safety issues too. There is a temperature safety feature which turns it off automatically if the temperature rises above the operating level. It also has a small unit that can be attached to the main pad for especial purposes like animal hair suction. To be honest these few features are not used in many other products that I’m aware of and certainly they should receive some credits. It also can be used any type of surfaces too. So as a final note, I have no regrets for the price that I paid for this floor cleaner.
